Good news to Student WP Developers! The App Hub Marketplace is now available in the Philippines for an annual subscription fee of $99 USD. But of course, Tech students can sign up for a free! By using your DreamSpark subscription, students can publish their apps and at the same time sell their apps at the Marketplace without paying the annual subscription fee. Here’s a detailed step-by-step guide on the registration process for your reference:
1. Go to http://dreamspark.com and log in using your DS (DreamSpark) Account.
2. Once log-in, you can access the Windows Phone and Xbox Game Development pages under the Developer and Designer tools section.
3. Click on Windows Phone SDK.You will be redirected to a new page which contains the latest offering on Windows Phone, the SDK and the instructions on how to sign up for the marketplace.
To register to App Hub, click on Map Your Accounts. Follow the instructions. Once you have completed mapping your account, you will be redirected to the Windows Phone Dev Center Registration Page.
4. You will be asked if you already have a DreamSpark account.
4.a If you already have a DreamSpark Account, select “I already have a DreamSpark account” You will be asked to log in with your DreamSpark account details.
Once the system verifies that you have a valid DreamSpark account it will prompt you to this page:
