Through the Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA), schools, faculty, and students can get access to Microsoft developer tools, platform, technologies, and learning resources. Schools with MSDNAA have their own e-Academy License Management System (ELMS) portal where students can easily download software and get their product keys.
Last October 2008, we launched a contest to promote student downloads in ELMS. The mechanics was simple, the MSDNAA admin of the school with the highest number of student downloads by December 25, 2008 will win an ASUS EEEPC netbook! Here are the top 5 MSDNAA schools.
|1||University of the Philippines (IEEE)||2256|
|2||San Beda College||2234|
|3||Polytechnic University of the Phils.||1339|
|4||De La Salle University||542|
|5||FEU-East Asia College||486|
Congratulations to UP Diliman Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering for getting the most number of student downloads. Here is a photo of their MSDNAA administrator Prof. Rowel Atienza.
